Lounge area and restaurant for guests.

On the top floor of the West wing of the Vulkan Shipyard building, designed by architect Rafael Sena and located in the seaport of Sagunto, we created the company’s most exclusive area: a private multifunctional lounge area where clients and guests can be welcomed in style. A perfect place to hold meetings but that can also be used as a lounge area where clients can relax during their long visits to the shipyard while their yachts are being build or repaired. Despite the rational architectural design of the building, its surroundings consist of a rough industrial environment, the commercial seaport. The lounge area was designed to compensate and humanize this condition, as well as to take full advantage of its extraordinary natural environment (on the shores of the Mediterranean) that offers magnificent sunsets on the mountain ranges of Espadán and Calderona. The lounge area was conceived as one space, yet distributed in five different zones: the restaurant, snackbar, lounge-multimedia area, solarium and toilets.
