2nd Edition of the Latin American Video Art Festival.
We were requested to provide the graphic design for the 2ndedition of the Latin American Video Art Festival organized by the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM). The festival’s programme consisted of 21 short films and the Spanish premiere of the Panamanian documentary ´The Fists of a Nation´. Mexico was the guest country of this edition of the festival, that aims to promote the work of “the young generations of Latin American artists”, in the words of its coordinator, the art critic Manuel García. A total of nine countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Honduras, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Mexico) were represented. New techologies at the service of art, social denunciation and compromise were the main topics of this festival, pertaining to the IVAM’s programme.
