Grup Boyde · Stand

Corporative Stand. Construmat’07 Barcelona.

Grup Boyde is a reference company with more than 30 years of experience in providing integrated services for commercial equipment and national and international trade fairs. Furthermore, for the past ten years Boyde has been our partner in the design of interior decoration projects, teaming up with us to coordinate joint strategies and projects.

For the 2007 edition of the Construmat construction fair, we designed the stand for their carpentry branch. The design of the exhibition area was conceived as an open self-lit forum in the way of an oriental lantern, a conceptual and technical exercise of made-to-measure carpentry. The whole construction was made of 5 cm wide pinewood slats. The open joints of the planking structure allowed for the only lighting of the stand, coming from the inside and creating the impression of a gigantic luminaire.
