“The organization of the 32nd America’s Cup created a four-year programme, consisting of 13 regattas, sailed in four different European venues, that started in 2004. Each one of these regattas was a Louis Vuitton Act, a chapter in the history of the 32nd America’s Cup. The results the challengers obtained in these regattas added points in the ranking system for the 2007 Louis Vuitton Cup, the competiton that decided the challenger that would face defender Alinghi in the America’s Cup Match”.
